The process described below only needs to be followed for companies, etc. that are exhibitors at SC, a full list of those is available at: http://iebms.heiexpo.com/iebms/oep/oep_p1_exhibitors.aspx?cc=sc09&oc=34

I know we've all been confused about the process for soliciting outside contributions. There is now a process (!) that everyone will be using, conference wide:

• Check with Becky V before contacting someone. Tell her:
  • whom you want to contact
  • how much you want to ask for
  • what it's for
  • what if anything you're offering in return
  • and please be sure to cc me on this piece
• Do your contacting and discussions without Becky (or me, for that matter)
• Once you've made the deal, send an email to Becky V giving her
  • contact person at the company/org
  • the terms of the deal
  • anything they told you about how they want to pay
  • and again cc me please
• Becky, Hall-Erickson, and Jeff H will take it from the
