Creating an Account

To create an account, click on "Register" in the upper left hand corner (shown to the right).

You'll need to click "I agree to these terms" when the next page loads.

Next, create an account for yourself by filling in your username, real name, e-mail, and password.

Choose your timezone in order to have messages show up at correct times in relation to your local clock. Don't worry about daylight savings time - the server should automatically account for that.

After you submit the page, you'll be e-mailed a confirmation. Be sure to click on the link in order to make your account active.

Subscribing to Forums

You can automatically be signed up to "listen" in certain forums so that you don't need to check them to see if people have been writing messages. This is called subscribing. Click on the forum you want to subscribe to, and you should see in the bottom left "Subscribe to this Forum". You should then see a message that says, "You have subscribed to be notified of new posts in this forum."
