Charter for EAPF/ACM Parallelism Tech Pack Working

Introduction

The Parallelism Tech Pack Working group (PTPWG) is chartered to define, edit and curate an instance of the ACM Tech Pack series on the subject of Parallelism. This Parallelism Tech Pack will be an open service to the community, focusing on highlighting content and discussions relevant for the Parallel/Multicore/Manycore ecosystem. This explicitly means there may be pathways to fee or membership based material, as well as openly hosted content and courseware. The PTPWG will look at the definitions, create the gap analysis, survey existing content, and define a content framework for the various client definitions. Audiences within the ecosystem include at least professional practitioners, undergraduate and graduate faculty, and undergraduate and graduate students.

The PTPWG's charge is to provide expert direction and curation, while the ACM organization will provide web infrastructure and staffing to support the infrastructure for and web presence of the Tech Pack.
